Civil Weddings in Taormina are celebrated in the Sala del Consiglio, that is lined in rich woods exalting the painted coat of arms representing the town. The Mayor performs the ceremony.

Forza d’Agrò is a town that has its roots in a past of which it preserves the atmosphere, neighborhoods, streets, palaces and churches. Picturesque city at 420 m above sea level, once called Antico Casale di Agrilla, at 15 Km of Taormina has featured as the backdrop in a number of films, such as The Godfather trilogy. Catholic weddings are celebrated in:
- The Cathedral SS. Annunziata, dating back to 1400, the most important architectural work in the city. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1648 and totally rebuilt in 1700, the church reflects elements Spanish and Baroque style
- The Holy Trinity Church, also known as St. Augustine's, is accessible by a scenic staircase. The interior, with a nave, is characterized by the sharp color contrast procured by the four altars, wooden structures painted ultramarine blue with pale gold ornaments, with white walls and without any decoration.
Getting married by the sea, caressed by a light breeze, the sound of the waves and a setting sun … can you imagine anything more romantic?
