Jul 2025 We got married July 2025! The day was just perfect from start to finish and every single one of our guests enjoyed the day. The organisation of the day was perfect, food was amazing, the venues were both breath-taking. Viola accommodated us so well and all the guests were so happy!! Antonella guided us through the planning process, helped us with everything from the legal documents to any small questions we had about our day! We emailed thatÂ’s amore with any questions in the planning process and they were answered promptly and with clear knowledge and expertise. A few days before the wedding Antonella took us to the florist and the venues to ensure we had the perfect wedding! Antonella made sure to take care of us both as well as our guests.
Jun 2025 What can I say about the service my family had whilst celebrating my daughter’s wedding. From when the decision was made to use this company the process was so easy and uncomplicated. We had the pleasure of dealing with Gemma prior to our arrival in Sorrento and during the week leading up to the wedding as well as the ceremony itself. Gemma is a credit to That’s Amore Weddings - she was professional and as my daughter said “so lovely” - we genuinely could not have wished for a better experience. We would definitely recommend !
Excellent service from that's amore weddings. We had Anna as our wedding planner. Communication through email was so simple, straightforward. Along with the extra touches. Made it so easy to plan our wedding. It was just so stress free. Had nothing to worry about. On the wedding day, everything apart from the lovely bit of rain was perfect and on time. Including the pre trials in hotel for hair and make up. Anna also sent a schedule of the wedding day which showed step by step of each part of the wedding. We got married in Sorrento 20-08-25. We went with Tui wedding package holiday and Thatsamoreweddings were the guys who organised everything on our behalf. We had the most Amazing wedding coordinator in Antonella, we sent many emails back and forth and she guided us through everything step by step. When we finally met up with her in Sorrento it was like seeing a long lost friend! She is absolutely wonderful, the whole procedure is of a high class and extreme professional and the people in Sorrento bend over backwards to help you. Recommended to everyone who is thinking of marrying in Sorrento, it was a fairytale, we treasure all the memories and canÂ’t wait to revisit.
We got engaged in Sorrento last year and just had to go back for our Wedding this year. We came across 'That's Amoré Weddings' from Google & I am so pleased that we did. The team there were amazing, initially working with Mandi who handed us over to Anna Gargiulo (Our main Italian Wedding planner) & Patty assisted us with the legal paperwork. They were so responsive, nothing was too much trouble. We had emails, TEAMS meeting and they arranged local suppliers in Sorrento, saving us time and stress. From the booking of the venue (we used Cloisters), the Violinist, the photographer, the florist, the lemon cart and the transport. It all worked out perfectly. Anna also worked closely with our Hotel reception Wedding planner so the transition from the ceremony to the reception was seamless. The best thing we could have done when planning our wedding was find ThatÂ’s Amore! Naturally we were worried with planning an abroad wedding and with our wedding planners being in a completely different country. However, I can assure anyone who wants to consider booking their wedding through ThatÂ’s Amore that you will have nothing but first class support. From helping us select our venues, to supporting us with advice for our legal ceremony, the lead up to the event was perfectly planned. The team made us feel special, and no question asked was too much. During our time in Italy, Viola gave us a tour of the venues and to meet suppliers, and on the wedding day she made sure it ran perfectly to plan. We both felt very relaxed on the day, knowing it would run smoothly in capable hands. One piece of advice I would give couples looking to get married in Italy is to get in touch with ThatÂ’s Amore! You can trust them to look after your special day. We canÂ’t imagine our day without their support.
We had a fantastic experience working with Gemma to ensure that our Wedding day was exactly how we wanted it to be. From the beginning, Gemma was available and very informative to guide us through our plans for the day. She provided us with clear information in terms of the legal requirements and relevant deadlines, along with detailed information for the more fun bits like locations, add ons etc. When we arrived in Sorrento, Gemma was on hand via WhatsApp for any queries we had prior to meeting her for our client meeting. On that day, she gave us a small tour of Sorrento, as we visited all our vendors and locations. She talked in detail about the day, how it worked, timings etc and what to expect. She also provided us with hints and tips in terms of local places to eat, sights to visit etc. On our wedding day, she again was on hand and stayed in touch with us with any queries we may have. She supported my husband from the moment he got out of the wedding car, and welcomed me warmly as I got out of mine. It put me at ease to have her there walking us through the ceremony and translating for us. We couldn't thank her more for her support in the preparation and execution of the day, she was just fantastic and we really appreciate how she made the day far less stressful!
My husband and I love to travel, so we always knew we wanted to elope abroad and then celebrate separately with our friends and family back in the UK. As I’m half Italian, getting married in Italy had always been a dream, but the thought of planning a wedding overseas felt overwhelming. After a long search for a trustworthy wedding planner, we discovered That’s Amore Weddings through TUI, and I’m so grateful we did! We worked with Gemma, who was absolutely incredible — professional, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond. She went above and beyond to make the whole process simple and stress-free, organising everything from the venue and violinist to the photographer and florist. Knowing that Gemma had everything in hand allowed me to focus on planning our UK reception without worry. The entire experience was seamless — even the parts I was most anxious about, like documents and witnesses, were completely taken care of. We got married at the beautiful Cloisters in Sorrento, and the day was nothing short of perfect. It truly was the best day of our lives, and we couldn’t be more thankful to the entire That’s Amore team for making it all possible. We booked our wedding with TUI who handed us over to Gemma at ThatÂ’s Amore. We were married last week at the Cloisters in Sorrento Italy. From the very first email I knew we were in safe hands! Gemma was highly professional, very personable , supportive and extremely patient, answering my endless emails promptly and never made me feel that I had asked a daft question (or one that I should have known the answer to if I had read the paperwork!) guiding us gently through all the laborious official documentation. Gemma kept in touch by email throughout the run up to the wedding and once we arrived in Italy a WhatsApp group chat which was perfect for all those last minute bridal panics!! Gemma met with us in Sorrento a few days before the wedding, by then I felt we were meeting an old friend. We checked the itinerary, she took us to the venue and to visit the florist. Gemma was there on the day, supporting us both and translating the service. Gemma made sure that we had the day we wantedÂ… nothing was too much trouble, a day that truly excelled all our hopes and wishes. We would thoroughly recommend Gemma and the services of ThatÂ’s Amore to anyone getting married in Italy, you truly are in the very best hands. Only thing we would changeÂ… just wish we could do it all again !!! As they say in Italy Â… PERFEZIONE ASSOLUTA Â… ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!!
Where do we start?!... That's Amoré Weddings of Sorrento. Thank You soooo much for your services over the past 18 months.. never too much trouble to make time for a call, TEAMS meeting or to deal with something over in Sorrento, saving us a journey. The whole team, Rosaria, Mandy and of course the amazing Viola, are absolutely awesome and take away any and all stresses throughout the planning. We could not have been in safer hands. The team's partners for Photography, Make up and hair were just unbelievable.. Sam & I felt like we were celebrities for the day. The passion and drive to make sure we had the most perfect day and could take our minds off the planning before and more importantly on the day was clear for all to see. Viola, our appointed planner, was perfect. Her attention to detail throughout was impeccable. Her communications were comprehensive and the execution on the day was unbelievable... Had every base covered with a plan B up her sleeve for any problems (such as a potential Thunderstorm which I am sure didn't materialise because it was afraid to have to deal with Viola if it had). Can't thank the guys enough. We are planning a return for an anniversary weekend in 2026 and absolutely must catch up with the That's Amoré team. Thanks to TUI for nominating them as our planners... Jul 2025 We chose to hold our wedding in Sorrento this April and it was the most magical day of our lives. We couldn’t have done it without Viola and the incredible team at That’s Amore Weddings. It was a big decision to make to get married abroad but from the moment we started planning, Viola and the team demonstrated professionalism and friendly support that made the entire experience stress-free and genuinely so enjoyable for the both of us and our family. Viola and Mandi were in regular contact from day one and their guidance put us at ease and calmed any nerves we had around our big day. Once we had arrived in Sorrento, we met with Viola and went through the wedding itinerary and visited the venues and florists. We had already received the detailed itinerary along with photos but it gave us extra reassurance that we had made the right decision. We held the ceremony at The cloister of San Francesco, in the centre of Sorrento, and it was breath-taking. Viola and the team created a setting that was intimate and timeless, letting the beauty of the historic cloisters shine while adding elegant touches that reflected our personal style. Every element – from the floral arrangements, beautiful harp music to the seating layout and photography – was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. That’s Amore’s service is outstanding. The team knew every member of our family’s names and greeted and guided them which made them feel welcome and included in the ceremony. We held our reception at 'o Parrucchiano La Favorita which was as equally as beautiful. Viola and the team once again exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was romantic, with the perfect location between the stunning gardens and lemon groves. The beautifully decorated tables, and layout, made for a fantastic celebration. The transition from ceremony to reception was perfect, every guest was well taken care of, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food, wine and service was exceptional too. Viola even stayed at the reception for the entire duration, in the background, checking that every detail was perfect. We loved every minute of our wedding day. What truly sets Viola apart is her thoughtfulness. She listened carefully to what we wanted and brought our vision to life with care, creativity, and precision. It was clear she genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Even the smallest details - our welcome signs, place settings, greetings and table decorations were carefully presented. We were fortunate enough to meet other members of the team on our special day who were also professional and showed support and genuine care towards us. Even after our wedding day the team sent us photos and video footage that they had taken during the day. These extra special touches were wonderful. If you are planning a wedding in the Amalfi Coast or Sorrento, we couldn’t recommend That’s Amore Weddings more.
